Lakewood POA Board Meeting Minutes April 9, 2020

Koppa, T Anderson, S Anderson, Geiger, Hensen, Pugh, Volkmann
Call to order by Koppa.
Meeting minutes: Motion to approve minutes from March 26, 2020 by Hensen, seconded by Pugh. Motion carried.
Annual Meeting Covid response: Motion to postpone annual meeting to July 11, 2020 at Spot in the Woods at 10:00am or lakefront pavilion as alternative location. Updated proxy reviewed.
Seconded by S. Anderson. Motion carried. Koppa motioned to mail notice and letter postponing meeting/change of date, Geiger bio, proxy and moving ballot count to just prior to the meeting.
Stephanie phone number on letter. Seconded by Volkmann. Motion carried.
Spring opening of park: T Anderson put up signs, the pier is in and 3 of the 7 trees are down. Water turned on and porta potty delivered mid-May. Delay signing lawn service contract to
gather more info about beach clean-up and other available vendors.
Treasurer’s report: S. Anderson submitted the budget for 2020 along with the 2019 budget to actual figures. Motion to approve 2020 budget by Koppa, seconded by Hensen. Motion carried.
Secretary’s report: Volkmann will train with website administrator on keeping the website updated. Training sessions will be recorded for others in the future to have access to running
the website. Reported that over 100 ballots have been received to date. Corporate filing will be completed via the website with a $25.00 filing fee. Will be looking for a resident to take over
administration of the website.
Pavilion roof update: Board agreed to postpone to 2021 due to budget constraints and lack of competitive bids.
Lien collections: April 30 deadline for dues to be paid.
Update from accountant: Koppa will call accountant to obtain updated email address.
Officer term rotations: Terms have shifted out of rotation. Board will adhere to one or two directors elected every year for proper rotation. Rotation records indicate:
2018 T Anderson, Pugh and Koppa for 3 year term
2019 Volkmann, S Anderson and Hensen 3 year term
2020 Geiger 3 year term
