Scott Geiger will no longer be continuing his contract of the lakefront
maintenance.  Two other contractors have been contacted and Scott Geiger
will develop a spec sheet to receive bids from other contractors.

The new section of the gate has been installed.  Need to add 16 additional
feet on the south side.  Budget item for 2022 – need to add 16 foot section plus
3 posts and section of railing.

Eric Koppa has volunteered to research cameras for the lakefront.

A homeowner is donating a camera to add to the front gate.

Carin Tio will order signs and Amy Volkmann will install the camera signs
by the entrance of the gate.

Amy Volkmann to meet with the DNR for a permit for dredging, retention wall
repair, a pier extension and additional beach sand.  This would be one
contractor to cover all repairs.

Pavilion Roof – 50%payment has been made.  Lakewood is on the schedule and will start
work in November/December.  The roof will be replaced with dark green metal.

6.     2022 ELECTION – Steve Hensen, Amy Volkmann and Stephanie Anderson
terms will end and will have to rerun for the board.

Amy Volkmann would like the board positions to be decided by the homeowners
instead of the board making the decisions.  Need to revise the proxy to be clearer
and easily understood.

  1.     NEW BUSINESS  –
    a. Should we keep PayPal to pay dues?  Stephanie Anderson wants to keep PayPal.
    b. Map Template  – Amy Volkmann had a large  map made of subdivision with lot numbers.
We need to put street names and addresses on the template.
    c. Paul Kelly reviewed all of the minutes and furnished a recap.
  2. WEBSITE CHANGES – The board will now handle updates to the website
  3. PRESIDENT’S REPORT – Renting – On February 24, the board passed an official rule
that we would not allow short term rentals.  This is rule #6 in our rules and was posted on

the website.

The board did not discuss and officially approve the fines for renting.  Once the board
has clear direction from the attorney, the board will vote on the fines schedule for
homeowners that rent out their homes on a short term basis.

It was discussed the Amy Volkmann did write a letter to a homeowner that wanted to know
if they could rent.  The letter stated we did not allow renting, but the homeowner could get a
tourist license from the county.

The board has hired an attorney to get what the association can legally do to stop the renting
of the homes in Lakewood.  The board is hiring an attorney to review our by law, covenants and rules, so we have
options on how to handle the homeowners renting.

12. NEW  BUSINESS

Terry Anderson offered to fix the yolk on the gate.  The cost will be about $20.00

Amy Volkmann would like to move the annual meeting for 2022 to May 14, 2022.
After the meeting would ask volunteers to help put up the new swing set.  By moving
to the second week of May, we are hoping we will have good weather to assemble the new set

Anderson seconded.
