Whether it’s on Facebook, via our contact form or through email at talktous@lakewoodpoa.org, we constantly get requests for information concerning dump hours, snowmobile trail conditions or even burning permits. Whatever it is that you may need an answer to, remember you can find it right here on our website under the ‘resources’ tab. When we planned out the design of our website and what would be added to the final website, we wanted to make it as informative and functional for ALL of our members whether they were into fishing, snowmobiling/ATVing/boating or just exploring the area. With these considerations we have links to fishing conditions, ATV info, snowmobile trail conditions and Necedah Wildlife Refuge. Other links that we thought would be helpful are Adams County, DNR, Wisconsin DOT. These links will send you to their respective website should you have questions pertaining to registration stickers, burning restrictions/permits, land records and hunting rules/permits. Also, the DOT will tell you where construction, accidents and back ups are so you can access and plan your trip accordingly. Also helpful are phone numbers for the Adams County Sheriff, diggers hotline, burn line and snow conditions, as well as landfill and transfer site addresses and hour. Another FAQ concerns weather. The bottom of every page on our website is the current 5 day forecast….by simply clicking on the weather underground icon at the very bottom, that will take you to a full, detailed 10 day forecast with everything you want to know and don’t want to know about the weather including watches and warnings for the area.
