BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
MINUTES FOR Wednesday, April 20, 2022
The Lakewood Board of Directors meeting was called to order by President Amy Volkmann at 7:02 pm
1. Roll Call:
Board Members Present Amy Volkmann – President
Steve Hensen – Vice President
Stephanie Anderson – Treasurer
Ginny Palumbo – Secretary
Scott Geiger – Director
Carin Tio- Director
Nancy Kubina-Carroll– Director
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: – Tabled
3. 2022-2023 BUDGET REVIEW – Dues for the next budget year will be increased by 10%. The
new dues will be $72.60. Steve Hensen made a motion to approve and was seconded by Scott
Geiger.
Ayes: Volkmann, Geiger, Tio, Anderson, Palumbo, Hensen,
Kubina-Carroll
Nays: None
Motion Carried
4. LAKEFRONT NEEDS-
– Beach Sand
– Additional fencing
– Dredging – Tabled
– Amy Volkmann working on getting additional lawn service bids. One bid received so far for
$14,000 for the season
5. REVIEW AND PREPARE FOR ANNUAL MEETING –
Amy Volkmann will run the meeting at the annual meeting. Amy will call on each board member
for their input for their area of responsibility.
6. BOARD MEMBER SALARIES FOR 2023 FISCAL YEAR STARTING JULY 2022
President – $1,000
Vice President – $400
Treasurer – $1,500
Secretary – $1,500
Directors – $400
Nancy Kubina-Carroll made a motion to make the changes in salaries and was second by Carin Tio.
Ayes: Volkmann, Geiger, Tio, Anderson, Palumbo, Hensen,
Kubina-Carroll
Nays: None
Motion Carried
7. BOARD OF DIRECTORS CHANGE IN DUTIES
Website Maintenance – Vice President
Gate Maintenance & Gate Passes – Treasurer
Carin Tio will update the database with the sales of properties to the new owners.
