Lakewood Property Owners Association Rules

1). The Lakefront park and everything in it including all equipment, the beach, pavilion, parking lot, playground, launch and piers are privately owned by Lakewood property owners in good standing.

2). Only Lakewood members, their family and guests may use the park and any of its amenities or facilities. That member MUST be in good standing with the Lakewood Property Owners Association with no outstanding dues or liens attached to their property.

3). No dogs are allowed anywhere in the park including the beach and piers at any time.

4). No owner or person may use the Common Areas or Lakefront for commercial purposes without the express written consent of the Lakewood Board of Directors.

5). No owner may sell or lease his/her rights to the Common Areas/Lakefront.

6). No short-term rentals less than 12 months in term are allowed in Lakewood.

7). Owners are responsible for any damage, theft and/or vandalism of their guests and will be held fully responsible and liable for repair or replacement.

8). Only Owners may reserve the pavilion and the owner must be present at the event. The pavilion may be reserved on a first come first served basis. Check the website, www.lakewoodpoa.org for availability and guidelines. Email your reservation request to talktous@lakewoodpoa.org.

9). If you choose to rearrange the picnic tables, please be sure to move them back to their original locations before you leave.

10). ALL garbage must be taken out with you. Lakewood does not provide garbage disposal. The Strongs Prairie Transfer Site is located just north up 20th Avenue on Cumberland.

11). Reserving the pavilion only includes the pavilion area. All other areas of the lakefront (beach, boat ramp, playground and volleyball area) remain open for other members to enjoy.
