As we announced at last May’s homeowners meeting, as well as published a blog about it…..for the first time in Lakewood’s history we have decided to make the “payment due date” for your annual homeowners fee align with our fiscal year as outlined in our bylaws, that date being March 31st. Fiscally speaking, it just makes sense and really we consider the start of our new year as April 1st. This also gives us plenty of time to get beach passes mailed out and address any lien issues prior to Memorial Day weekend. All annual statements were mailed on Thursday morning, February 8th so I would imagine everyone should have gotten them in their mailboxes by today, so make sure you check your mail thoroughly. Don’t delay pay today so you don’t forget!
Remember we are very fortunate to not only have (for most of us) our second homes, but everything that we have down at our lakefront along with the many improvements that we made in 2017, and it’s been about 5 years since our dues have been increased! Truly a great deal for the $58.08 per lot that we pay! And remember, this is now the 3rd year that we have offered PayPal as an option for payment……quick, easy, DONE! You can access PayPal by going under the ‘member information tab’ and then ‘pay your annual association dues’ and it will walk you through the process. So either be sure to mark your calendar so that we receive your payment BY the 31st of March or don’t delay, pay TODAY 🙂
