Paying your association dues is fun and easy

It’s that time of year again. Time to get the ole pen and checkbook out and pay your annual association dues.  Remember that this year (as voted on by our membership at last year’s annual meeting) our dues are $58.08 PER LOT and we’ve sent out actual  invoices to homeowners. We are hoping to significantly reduce the number of liens placed on homes with this method. The invoices were mailed out last week so everyone should have already received them in the mail. To avoid having a lien placed on your property, please be sure  to pay prior to May 1, 2016. (to learn more about liens go to the ‘member information’ tab). The sooner you pay, the sooner you get your beach passes and there won’t be the worry of not properly displaying your beach hang tag for a Memorial Day outing at the lakefront.  Please do not wait for the annual meeting in May to pay. It causes more chaos and a long line to get into the room. You may prefer to pay online. Maureen has been diligently working to get PayPal functional on our website by the time invoices went out. For those of you not familiar with PayPal, it is a completely SECURE online payment service that allows you to use either a debit or credit card. And for those of you that are already familiar with it, then you understand the ease of using it and can make payment and not have to worry about that bill getting lost  or forgotten about and then missing that May 1 deadline.  PayPal is located under the ‘member information’ tab.  When writing your check please be sure to include your LOT NUMBER(S) on the memo line. For those who opt to use our PayPal feature, note your lot number there as well. If you are paying dues via PayPal  for someone else (i.e. a parent/relative) please be sure to also contact us at talktous@lakewoodpoa.org and verify the name of the homeowner AND lot number so we can properly apply funds. If you’re paying by check for someone else then please include homeowners name AND lot number on memo line. For everyone’s convenience, your lot number(s) is located in your mailing address on the invoice, if you are not certain of what they are. We are asking for everyone’s help in making a timely payment of all dues  so we can beach passes mailed out. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
