This has been a summer of severe storms in Adams County. Hundreds of trees have been downed in and around our area. If you haven’t already teamed up with a friend or neighbor to keep a lookout on your place, we would highly recommend it. Since many of you aren’t full timers and maybe not even regular weekenders, an adjacent neighbor is “cheap insurance” to keep an eye out for storm damage, trees down, broken windows, suspicious vehicles/activity, etc. We like to keep our Facebook members abreast of any situation that we are aware of and did so with the last round of storms. With that came several requests for house checks…please realize that while we do what we can when we see damage, our time is limited and the board can not take on “security” tasks on a regular basis. Although we regularly keep a lookout over our ‘hood, individual requests cannot always be accommodated.
Team up today with your neighbors and let’s work together to keep our homes safe.
